Better Origin's mission is to fix the broken food chain by converting waste into high-value insect products. I was hired to help them raise investment by bringing their vision of the Origin-X factory to life.

Better Origin's mission is to fix the broken food chain by converting food waste into high-value insect products, such as animal feed and fertiliser.

The Problem

Better Origin sought to raise investment to fund the construction of the Origin-X factory. To do so, they required help to designing and developing visualisations that would bring their vision to life.

The Process

I started by interviewing key stakeholders, from the CEO, to the engineers responsible for each sub-process. Using this information, I created several scale drawings of increasing fidelity to hone in on a viable design.

The solution

I generated several renders of the factory, from detailed close-ups to system overviews. Enabling Better Origin to tell a complete and compelling story about the Origin-X and the innovations is holds.
